We program smart therapeutic cells to recognize disease environments and perform therapeutic actions, such as the release of cytokines or growth factors. Disease areas of interest are neurodenegerative disorders and arthritis. This approach could one day enable complex tissue regeneration, and we like to think about developing synthetic blastema stem cells for limb regeneration.
